Angry Anderson farewelled by Rose Tattoo band and motorcycle escort
Rose Tattoo frontman Gary 'Angry' Anderson was farewelled at St Andrew's Cathedral with band mates and motorcycle club members paying tribute.
The Australian rock legend was laid to rest Friday at St Andrew's Cathedral in Sydney. Members of the Veterans MC motorcycle club gathered to pay respects alongside family, friends and fellow musicians.
Cartoonist Paul Zanetti, a longtime friend, described an emotional ceremony. People remembered him as tough but kind, generous and always helping others.
His children delivered a heartfelt speech. His bandmates placed a Rose Tattoo flag over his coffin before carrying him to the hearse.
Dozens of Veterans MC motorcycles led a loud procession to his final resting place, giving their brother one last escort.
