Silverado ZR2 keeps V8 as Australian pickups shift to six-cylinder

The ZR2 is the off-road variant of the Silverado. The ZR2 is priced at $147,490 before on-road costs.
The Silverado is one of only four full-size American pickups sold in Australia. It is one of just two with a dedicated off-road trim.
The model received updates earlier this year. These included higher payload limits, revised suspension and black badging.
Its main rival, the Ram 1500 Rebel, costs less at $141,950 but has a six-cylinder engine. The engines produce the same power.
