ACT police arrest man with weapons, methamphetamine and biker gang clothes
Taskforce Invidia raided a Kambah home and arrested a 36-year-old man with weapons and drugs.
Police from the bikie-busting Taskforce Invidia raided a home in Canberra's Kambah on Thursday, October 1. The raid uncovered numerous weapons.
Police found two machetes, a tomahawk axe, three tasers, two batons, knuckledusters and other bladed weapons. Police found 35 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
They also found two vials of suspected steroids. Officers discovered clothing linked to the Comancheros outlaw motorcycle gang.
Matti Kemppainen, 36, was arrested. He was charged with six counts of possessing banned weapons without permission.
He was also charged with drug trafficking. He was refused bail and held in custody.
The case was postponed to 9 October.
