Steven Soderbergh has stepped in to help finish the final weeks of filming on The Batman Part II while director Matt Reeves focuses on a personal family issue. Soderbergh, known for Traffic and Ocean's Eleven, said his goal is to make footage that fits seamlessly with what Reeves already shot.
This lets Reeves finish the film in post-production. Reeves will stay involved in creative decisions but won't be on set during filming.
Warner Bros. and DC Studios announced the production pause in early October.
The film stars Robert Pattinson and is set for release in February 2028.
