Victoria's election rivals to debate city's future at October forum
Premier Ben Carroll and Opposition Leader Jess Wilson will debate Victoria's future at an October forum.
Two main candidates for government will share their plans at The Age's Melbourne Assembly. The forum runs for three days, from 19 to 21 October.
Premier Ben Carroll and Opposition Leader Jess Wilson will give speeches on 21 October and answer questions from Chip Le Grand, The Age's state political editor. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will speak on 20 October about schools, hospitals and infrastructure.
The forum also features former New York mayor Bill de Blasio and planning expert Carlos Moreno. The event is at The Edge in Federation Square.
