Heidi Health took Scaleup of the Year, processing 2.8 million medical notes weekly across 190 countries.
The Startup Daily Best in Tech Awards held a sold-out dinner with 220 guests in Sydney on Saturday. Heidi Health won both Scaleup of the Year and the AI Gamechanger award.
The Melbourne startup operates in 110 languages and is the world's largest medical scribe by volume, according to founder Dr Simon Kos. Women featured prominently: Emma Earley's 1000 Women in AI won the GSD Award, hitting her membership goal in just two weeks.
Annie Liao, founder of Build Club, was named Future Leader. Entrepreneur turned federal MP Allegra Spender spoke about the risks and purpose behind starting businesses, noting the positive change many founders aim to create.
