Alison Hammond clears hospital tests after leaving This Morning

The presenter left the ITV show midway through Friday's broadcast and tested all-clear for heart issues at hospital.

Alison Hammond left This Morning during Friday's live broadcast, appearing to clutch her chest as co-host Dermot O'Leary helped her off set. Alison Hammond went to hospital for a heart check-up and posted on Instagram Saturday that tests came back all-clear.

Hammond now believes she had a panic attack, saying it felt very real and she is newly learning about them. Alison Hammond thanked NHS staff and her This Morning colleagues for their support.

The 51-year-old presenter said she would take some rest and recover. She also co-hosts The Great British Bake Off and appears regularly on the ITV programme.
