Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches November 5, playable a day early via New Zealand accounts.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake arrives on Switch 2 on November 5 at midnight in each time zone. Gamers in North America can play it at 9pm PT on November 4, a full day early.

The trick is creating a Nintendo Account linked to New Zealand, which releases first. The remake weighs 24.5GB, so make sure your console has space.

You'll need a New Zealand credit card or eShop vouchers to buy it early, which costs more than the US price. Nintendo has also announced in-store events at Nintendo San Francisco and Nintendo New York for fans keen to celebrate.
