Jack's Creek wagyu wins world title for third year running
Australian producer Jack's Creek claimed World's Best Wagyu for the third consecutive year at the 2026 World Steak Challenge.
The family-run business near Willow Tree in NSW's Liverpool Plains has just secured its third straight gold medal. The competition, held in the Netherlands, was judged blind.
The judges tested purebred wagyu with a marbling score of 8 to 9, the highest luxury grade. Jack's Creek is run by the Warmoll family for over 30 years.
It now exports grain-fed wagyu and beef to more than 30 countries. The win shows the strength of Australia's wagyu industry, which is the world's largest exporter valued at about $2 billion a year.
Australia took 27 gold medals overall at the event, with the country's exporters securing 42 medals in total.
