Keffe D Davis sentenced to 40 years for Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder
Gang leader Keffe D Davis was sentenced to 40 years to life for Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder.
Duane "Keffe D" Davis, 63, received a 40 years to life sentence in a Las Vegas court for the September 1996 shooting. Tupac was killed while sitting in an SUV driven by record executive Marion Knight.
The case had been unsolved for decades until Davis's arrest in 2023. Davis had publicly claimed involvement in the killing before denying it at trial, where he was found guilty of first degree murder in August.
Judge Carli Kierny told the court that Davis had no right to take a man's life and future.
