Wrexham salvages draw at Derby with late Rathbone equaliser
Wrexham drew 1-1 at Derby County after Ollie Rathbone's close-range goal in the 88th minute, but lost Josh Windass to injury.
Wrexham earned a point at Pride Park after Ollie Rathbone scored a late equaliser against Derby County. Sam Szmodics had given Derby the lead with a powerful strike, but Rathbone's 88th-minute finish levelled the match.
Parkinson praised his side's resilience despite conceding a fine goal. Windass, Wrexham's top scorer last season, was forced off through injury early in the match, and Parkinson said the damage "doesn't look too good".
Wrexham were also missing Callum Doyle, Ben Sheaf, Matty James and Liberato Cacace through injury.
