Police seek two suspects in Waterloo stabbing death
Police released CCTV footage of two young Indigenous men after a 34-year-old was stabbed on Pitt St, Waterloo.
Detectives released the footage on Wednesday, six weeks after a man died from stab wounds outside a unit block. Police were called to the building about 7.20pm on August 18 and found the victim already stabbed.
The victim died soon after at St Vincent's Hospital. A 35-year-old woman with him suffered minor injuries from an assault.
The CCTV shows two people walking away from the scene with their backs to the camera. One is described as Indigenous, 18-19 years old, about 165cm tall, wearing a black hoodie and off-white tracksuit pants.
The second is also Indigenous, believed 17-18 years old, about 175cm tall, with longer hair in a bun or ponytail. Police are asking anyone with information or footage to come forward.
