Friends cast will not appear in Matthew Perry documentary
All five main Friends cast members declined to appear in Matthew Perry's upcoming three-part docuseries.
Netflix will release The One About Matthew Perry on October 27, a three-part series honoring the late actor. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer all reportedly turned down invitations to participate.
Aniston was particularly reluctant to discuss her grief publicly. She did not want to relive the loss on camera.
Perry's sister, Mia Perry Bowick, will speak for the first time in the documentary. She will share memories and reflect on his life beyond Chandler.
She also discusses his struggles with addiction. The series aims to show Perry as a whole person and celebrate his legacy.
