Travis Scott unknowingly roasted Tame Impala after complimenting them for winning the AFL Grand Final they had just lost.
American rapper Travis Scott accidentally delivered the perfect insult to Perth band Tame Impala by congratulating them for winning the AFL Grand Final on Instagram, when they actually lost. Kevin Parker, Tame Impala's frontman and a devoted Dockers fan, shared photos from the MCG showing him with his bandmates looking upbeat before the match.
Scott, unaware of the result, commented: 'Yall did it. Houston to aus.
And yall got the dubbbb.' Clued-in AFL fans quickly piled on, pointing out the devastating result and suggesting Scott get up to speed on Australian football.
Parker had wrapped up his band's US tour in Houston just days before flying to Melbourne for the game. Tame Impala will start their Australian tour in Brisbane on October 9.
