Youths rob Thornlie service station, flee on moped

Three children in balaclavas walked into the 7-Eleven in Thornlie on Friday afternoon and stole several items. The three had a moped waiting in the doorway and rode away on it.
One of the children gestured at a person recording the robbery on a phone. The video spread on Facebook and sparked almost 800 comments.
WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch called the robbery very disturbing. Armadale detectives are investigating.
Similar scooter-based crimes have been reported in nearby suburbs like Rivervale and Riverton.
