Mini launches Lucky 13 Edition honouring its 1966 Bathurst win
Twenty-six limited-edition Minis honour 1966 Bathurst victory when Mini Coopers swept the top nine places.
Mini has unveiled the Lucky 13 Edition, a special limited-run model honouring the 1966 Bathurst 500 victory by Rauno Aaltonen and Bob Holden. The Morris (Mini) Cooper S swept the top nine places in the Mount Panorama endurance race that year, cementing the car's racing legend.
The car gets white bonnet stripes, a white roof and circular 13 decals referencing Holden's lucky number drawn from a hat. Inside, it has black Vestin upholstery, black winglets, a red JCW tow strap and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Mini packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine making 170kW and 380Nm. Just 26 Lucky 13 editions will be built for Australia, arriving in early 2027 at $71,990 before on-road costs.
