Alan Jones's butler of nearly 20 years gave evidence at the indecent assault trial in local court. David Allan, 79, recalled seeing Jones greet a high-profile athlete with a hug and what he called a "slap on the bottom" during visits to Jones's luxury Sydney apartment.
Jones had young male athletes in their twenties at the apartment. They came for lunches, dinners and parties.
Jones has pleaded not guilty to 21 charges of indecent assault and sexual touching against five male complainants. He is also accused of kissing one athlete twice without consent.
Allan started working as Jones's personal butler in 2001, handling housekeeping duties at the Circular Quay apartment.
