Nicholas Olsen returns to Wollongong Wolves for championship
NPL player of the year Nicholas Olsen is leaving Sutherland Sharks to rejoin Wollongong Wolves for the Australian Championship starting October 16.
Olsen won the NSW NPL player of the year award in 2025. When he played for Wollongong at the time, Olsen led the club's scoring charts with 15 goals.
Olsen moved to Sutherland Sharks for the 2026 NPL season. He made the league's team of the year.
The Sharks are going through a major squad shake-up. Olsen is one of 11 players now leaving the club.
Wollongong Wolves head coach Luke Wilkshire confirmed Olsen's return. He said Olsen will fit back in seamlessly.
