Jack Bowes requests Essendon trade
Geelong's Jack Bowes has requested a move to Essendon after playing just nine games this season.
Geelong midfielder Jack Bowes has asked to join Essendon. Bowes arrived at the Cats in 2022 after a salary dump deal with Gold Coast, where Geelong took him and pick 7 but paid his heavily back-loaded contract.
Essendon chased him then and has now circled back, with new coach Mark McVeigh and list manager Matt Rosa meeting him last week. Geelong offered Bowes a new deal to stay but said they're open to him moving on.
North Melbourne has also shown interest.
