Mark Nawaqanitawase will play his last game for the Roosters in the NRL grand final on Sunday.

In just two years, Nawaqanitawase has become one of the NRL's best wingers. Nawaqanitawase is leaving the Roosters to pursue rugby union and a shot at the Wallabies in the 2027 Rugby World Cup at home.

He was exhausted from the physical demands of league. Nawaqanitawase adapted, and by the next year Johns said his body had adjusted.

His mother was initially worried about the roughness of league. Now she doesn't want him to leave.
