Roblox adds AI game builder and games can now live outside the platform
Roblox rolled out AI-powered game creation to Serbia and Singapore and let developers sell games on mobile, PC and consoles.
Roblox announced major updates at its Developer Conference this week. The Build feature, which lets users create games by typing natural language prompts, is expanding beyond New Zealand to Serbia and Singapore.
Creators can soon turn their games into standalone apps for mobile, PC and consoles, with Roblox as the underlying engine. The company is also launching a Roblox Wallet so creators get paid daily in real money, and a Roblox Card next year.
Game makers have earned $1.7 billion on the platform in the last 12 months.
