Spudbar rebrand drives 30% growth and plans to double store network
Spudbar reports strong sales growth after a rebrand including new recipes, store refurbishments and fresh leadership, with plans to double its footprint.
Spudbar's rebrand is paying off. Early results are "incredibly encouraging", with some stores achieving 30% year-on-year sales growth.
Seventeen of its 20 stores are growing. The overhaul included new ingredients, refitted stores, loaded hot chips, and grab-and-go options.
Managing director Andrew Mitchell says the changes attracted new customers and brought back old ones. The franchise is recruiting partners for Melbourne's west with plans to double stores in two years.
The rebrand took two years, with product improvement coming before the visual redesign.
