Kyrgios back on court after serving one-month cocaine ban
Nick Kyrgios has completed a one-month suspension for testing positive to cocaine and has resumed training at his Canberra home club.
Kyrgios, 31, got a one-month ban in early September after testing positive to cocaine. The test was at an ATP tournament in Spain in June.
Because the drug use occurred outside tournament dates and he entered a treatment program, his ban was reduced. Kyrgios's suspension is now served.
On Wednesday, Kyrgios returned to training at Lyneham courts in Canberra and posted a photo surrounded by young fans. He described the moment as uplifting after a difficult month dealing with personal issues and loss.
Kyrgios has not yet committed to any professional tournaments, and his competitive future remains uncertain.
