Travis Somerland, a former police officer, is drawn into a billionaire's business fight with several murders to solve.
Canberra crime writer Chris Hammer's latest book, Full Circle, is his first standalone novel. Former police officer Travis Somerland takes a job driving for billionaire Felix Clapton.
The job puts him on Clapton's estate, Montechino, near Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula. Somerland is drawn into Clapton's business fight with a rival wealthy family, and several murders need solving.
Hammer has not promised a Canberra-set book, but says one on the edges of politics might work. He will appear at the Canberra Writers Festival this week.
