Greene completes move to Geelong as unrestricted free agent
Toby Greene, 33, ends his 15-year Giants career as an unrestricted free agent to join Geelong.
Greene spent 15 years at Greater Western Sydney, playing 282 games and kicking 450 goals. Toby Greene won two best and fairest awards and was named All-Australian three times.
The forward decided his future in mid-September and chose to return home to Victoria. Giants officials said Greene had been central to building the club since its inaugural season, arriving as a teenager and becoming a key leader.
The Giants receive a second-round draft pick as compensation for losing an unrestricted free agent.
