Teen charged after grabbing child in suburban Adelaide
An 18-year-old was charged after allegedly grabbing a 4-year-old girl during an evening walk in Paralowie.
A man approached an elderly couple walking with two young girls in Paralowie on Monday evening, allegedly picking up the four-year-old and carrying her a short distance before running away. A nearby walker saw what was happening and frightened the man off.
The girl was dropped. A bystander chased him but lost him through nearby parks.
The teen was arrested shortly after. He has been charged with child abduction.
He was refused bail and will appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
