Osborne Tigers chase premiership dream undefeated in netball final
The undefeated Tigers play Jindera for the Hume netball premiership. Young goal shooter Morton is living out a lifelong dream.
Osborne are going into Saturday's Hume netball grand final undefeated. The Tigers will face Jindera at Walbundrie.
Nineteen-year-old goal shooter Beccy Morton plays alongside stars she looked up to as a kid, including Abbey O'Connell, Georgia O'Connell and Sally Clark. Morton watched those three players as a junior.
It inspired her to ask her mum to let her stay late just to watch them play. Osborne has a new coach named Sarah Hillier.
She is a star Riverina netballer. Sally Clark is back coaching after winning two premierships.
For Jindera, rising star Rory Burge has impressed stepping up to A-grade this season.
