Albany twins win $1M lotto, their second major prize in less than two years
The 65-year-old twins from Albany, WA split $1 million in Millionaire Medley, less than two years after their first major lottery win.
Twin brothers from Albany in Western Australia have won $1 million through Millionaire Medley, their second major lottery prize in less than two years. The brothers will split the winnings and use it to pay off their house and buy caravans for travel around Australia.
Their first win came in February 2025 from Set for Life, which gave them $200,000 upfront and $20,000 a month for 20 years. The brothers used that prize to buy their sister's home.
Both winning tickets were purchased at Clarks Newsagency in Albany. After years of physically demanding work, the brothers said they can now relax and enjoy retirement together.
A Lotterywest spokesperson confirmed it was rare for the same players to win two significant prizes within such a short period.
