Newcastle's two new residential towers officially reached their full height on Friday. The Store project has two towers of 29 and 27 levels above a three-storey podium on Hunter Street in Newcastle West.
The development is the city's tallest building. The $250 million project will have 352 luxury apartments, ground-floor retail, and office space.
Residents will share one acre of shared spaces. These include a 25-metre swimming pool, tennis court, playground, and areas for outdoor dining and gardens.
The project is expected to open in early 2027. The site honours the original Newcastle and Suburban Co-operative Society building from 1898.
