Wests Nelson Bay plans $68.97m apartment tower on car park
Wests Group lodged plans for a $68.97m serviced apartment block at its Nelson Bay club, replacing the western car park.
Wests Group has applied to build a five-storey serviced apartment tower at The Nelson Bay Diggers club, replacing the western car park. The $68.97 million development would add 71 tourist apartments: 26 one-bedroom, 40 two-bedroom and five three-bedroom.
The building would reach 17.1 metres, exceeding local height limits by 2.1 metres. Parking would lose 103 spaces but gain 75, including 45 EV spots.
The application goes to the Hunter and Central Coast Regional Planning Panel.
