Wollongong Festival kicks off across Illawarra venues
The Wollongong Festival launched with DJs and live bands across northern Illawarra venues over the weekend.
The Wollongong Festival began its first of four weekends on Saturday in Thirroul, with DJs Cicada Buzz and Rolasonic playing at Black Market Roasters. The action moved to Beaches Hotel from 3pm, where the Andy Golledge Band drew crowds from 5pm.
Frank's Wild Years hosted four acts including Marta the Enigma Machine. On Sunday, the festival shifted to Bulli with music starting at 10am at Timbermill Cafe.
Resin Brewing and Heritage Hotel hosted DJs and bands into the evening. Port Kembla hosts the free Port Kembla Fringe next weekend from September 18 to 20.
