Woman airlifted from 30m cliff fall in Blue Mountains
Woman aged in her 30s fell from Ben Trovato Wall and was rescued in serious but stable condition.
A woman in her 30s fell about 30 metres from the Ben Trovato Wall in the Blue Mountains National Park near Leura on Saturday morning at 11am. The woman was climbing when she plunged down the sheer rock face.
Paramedics and a Toll rescue helicopter with a medical team were sent to the scene. The woman suffered head, arm and shoulder injuries.
Emergency crews worked to retrieve her from difficult terrain. Police confirmed she was in serious but stable condition.
