Deliberate targeting of lone women sparks home invasion charges
Police allege three men aged 18, 19 and 20 deliberately targeted women living alone in separate attacks in Arncliffe and Bankstown.

The men checked homes before breaking in. On Tuesday, one man broke into an Arncliffe home.
He threatened a 31-year-old woman with a knife, attacked her and took money. Two days later, a 32-year-old woman was attacked during a Bankstown invasion.
Sex crimes commander Virginia Gorman said the attacks were 'excessively violent for three men armed with a weapon against vulnerable women home alone'. The men used duct tape to hold victims still.
All three were charged with aggravated break and enter and choking. Police believe the men were planning to target another person when arrested.
