Devonport won the 2026 NWFL grand final on Saturday at Latrobe Recreation Ground. The sixth straight premiership put them in the league's record books.
The sixth straight flag had never been done in the league's 39 years. The match against Ulverstone was close right to the end.
Ulverstone pushed hard until the final whistle. Joseph Chaplin was named best on ground for Devonport in just his second game this season.
The win caps another strong year for the Magpies in Tasmania's top football league.
