Teen airlifted to hospital after cliff fall near Gordons Bay
A teenage boy fell from a cliff near Gordons Bay on Friday and was rescued by helicopter.
A teenager plunged from a cliff near Major St in Coogee, near Gordons Bay, in Sydney's east on Friday around 1pm. Witnesses reported the fall and emergency services rushed to the scene.
NSW Ambulance said the boy suffered possible back injuries, scratches and abrasions. A helicopter was called in to winch the injured teen to safety and transport him to hospital.
