Townsville man charged with murder over fatal stabbing
A 47-year-old has been charged with murder following the death of a 53-year-old man in Heatley on Friday.
A 47-year-old Townsville man has been charged with murder after a 53-year-old died from stab wounds. Police found the victim with injuries to his leg at a unit complex on Narangi Street in Heatley on Friday afternoon around 3pm.
Officers gave first aid at the scene, but the man died shortly after. The accused man was known to the victim and was arrested at the scene.
He was charged with murder as a domestic violence offence and is expected to face Townsville Magistrates Court.
