Beau Lamarre-Condon admits manslaughter in deaths of Baird and Davies
Beau Lamarre-Condon told his murder trial he is guilty of manslaughter, not murder, in the deaths of two men.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, a former NSW police officer, gave evidence for a second day in his double-murder trial on Friday. Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to murdering Baird and Davies on February 19, 2024, but told the court: "It was my fault.
I am guilty of manslaughter. But it wasn't intentional."
Lamarre-Condon claims he went to Baird's Paddington home disguised as an UberEats driver to retrieve his belongings. He said Baird lunged at him with a knife, so he fired.
During the struggle his gun went off again, accidentally. Lamarre-Condon then claims Davies picked up his weapon and pointed it at him, so he redirected the muzzle and it discharged, striking Davies.
Justice Natalie Adams is presiding over the trial.
