Liam Adams publishes eight novels after teaching himself to write at 15
Author Liam Adams, who has autism, has published eight novels and five comics through self-teaching.
Liam Adams grew up with autism and an intellectual disability. Stories filled his head, but he had no words to tell them.
At 5, he started filling pages with drawings instead of writing. In high school, Microsoft Word assignments opened a new door to express his imagination.
At 15, after watching his friend read Percy Jackson, he began learning to read and write properly. He taught himself as he went.
Now 25, Adams has published eight novels and five comics through his self-publishing business, Everyone Needs A Liam. One novel, Rabbit Rebellion, came from volunteering with the RSPCA.
He visits schools and speaks on panels, inspiring young people to tell their own stories.
