Icehouse celebrates Man of Colours' 40 years with never-before-played songs
The Australian rock band will play their landmark 1987 album in full, including songs never performed live before.
Man of Colours was released on September 21, 1987, and became Icehouse's biggest album. Man of Colours spent 11 weeks at number one on the Australian charts and sold over a million copies.
The album included five major hits: Crazy, Electric Blue, Man of Colours, My Obsession and Nothing Too Serious. The band will now tour the album in full, plus other hits like Great Southern Land and Hey Little Girl.
The band has never performed some of these songs live before. The tour will use seated indoor shows, different from their usual large outdoor events.
This new format lets the band play more songs and create a bigger show. Newcastle performances start in June 2027, with tickets on sale September 18.
