Music festival stays on sale for days after cancellation

FOMO Events Australia cancelled the three-day Frequency Forest festival scheduled for Maitland Showground this weekend. The cancellation came from weeks of threats about having five Israeli DJs in the line-up.
The promoter said two of his luxury cars were firebombed outside his Melbourne home last month. The promoter confirmed the cancellation on Friday.
He promised to notify ticket holders. But the website stayed active for days.
A ticket sales page appeared open. It showed available options.
This lasted until Wednesday afternoon. The Newcastle Herald then called the promoter.
The promoter said he was sorry for the delay in updating information. Ticket holders would receive refund options.
The festival is being reworked into a different line-up at Sydney nightclubs at a later date.
