Former real estate boss faces 14 assault and drug charges at trial
Anthony Di Nardo, ex-boss of Belle Property Newcastle, faces trial on 14 charges. The charges include sexual assault of eight employees over 17 years.
Anthony Di Nardo, 54, pleaded not guilty in Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday. His charges span from 2006 to 2023.
Di Nardo is accused of using his authority to sexually and indecently assault eight female employees. Allegations include touching three women on their buttocks or breasts.
Prosecutors say he supplied cocaine four times in 2022 at Newcastle West and The Junction. Di Nardo was arrested after a Herald investigation and police inquiry.
That inquiry found allegations dating back about 20 years. The judge sent him to Newcastle District Court next month.
He will formally enter pleas there and get a trial date. Three more women came forward in July.
They added allegations of sexual touching, indecent assault and drug supply.
