Substance exposure leads to attempted murder charges
Woman charged with attempted murder after exposing boys, 12 and 15, to noxious substance.
Police allege the woman exposed the two boys to a harmful substance at a Mitchelton home. A 70-year-old man attending the residence noticed the noxious substance and reported it to police.
The two boys were not injured and are safe and well, police said. The woman was taken to hospital for medical treatment and was discharged from hospital and arrested.
She has been charged with two counts of attempted murder as a domestic violence offence against a child. She is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this afternoon.
