Woman charged over alleged plot to poison two Brisbane boys
A 47-year-old woman was charged with two counts of attempted murder against a child.
A woman has been charged with attempted murder after police say she tried to kill two boys by exposing them to a noxious substance in a Mitchelton home on September 24. A man at the home detected the substance and immediately reported it to police.
The two boys did not need medical treatment and are safe and well, Queensland Police confirmed. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, discharged, and arrested on Thursday.
Child Protection investigators charged her with two counts of attempted murder against a child. She is due in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
