Actor Sydney Sweeney appears nearly naked in an ad for sports prediction platform Novig, a company in which she holds equity.
The Hollywood star shot the campaign while in Australia filming Netflix's live-action Gundam film. In the video, Sweeney uses only footballs and sporting gear as props while promoting the sports-focused app.
The ad opens with her covering her chest with two footballs. The ad closes with the line "No politics, just you, your takes and sports."
Sweeney told Complex the campaign was "a very simple and playful idea." She wanted to bring the concept of "just sports" to life with confidence and humour.
Sweeney said the bold approach was a personal choice. It was also part of taking control of how she communicates with her audience.
