Luke Hodge skydives over Rottnest to help Kane Cornes raise Telethon funds
Hodge will skydive from 10,000 feet on Rottnest Island to support Cornes' two-marathon challenge.
Channel Seven AFL commentator Luke Hodge will leap from a plane next Thursday at 10,000-plus feet above Rottnest Island to kick off Telethon 2026. He'll then join another retired AFL gun, Kane Cornes, in an Amazing Race style challenge as Cornes attempts his second marathon in five days.
Cornes runs the Perth Running Festival Marathon on Sunday, then takes on a 42.2-kilometre run across Rottnest Island the following day. Every completed challenge raises money for sick kids across Western Australia.
The event launches the 59th annual Telethon, which runs October 17-18 at RAC Arena, broadcast live on Channel 7. WA Premier Roger Cook and Triple M breakfast hosts will also take part.
