Trial hears cop allegedly texted obsession with ex-boyfriend
Jury told former cop Beau Lamarre-Condon sent friend photos of ex-boyfriend's private messages with another man.
Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is on trial for murdering TV presenter Jesse Baird and Baird's new partner Luke Davies. They were killed at a Sydney home in February 2024.
Court heard that Lamarre-Condon sent photos to a police officer friend. The photos showed Baird's messages with another man.
He asked for advice, saying the situation was 'crazy'. Mitchell Quercigrossi told him it was 'so crazy' that he had looked through Baird's phone.
The prosecution says Lamarre-Condon developed an obsessive and jealous attachment to Baird after their relationship ended. He stalked Baird throughout 2023 and 2024.
Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty. He claims the gun went off during a struggle at the home.
The prosecution says he brought his NSW Police service pistol. He meant to use it.
