Australian Border Force officers arrested him at Brisbane Airport in October 2019 after he returned from a visit. Phone forensics showed he had directly contacted victim children.
He described the abuse he planned to do. Following a seven-year investigation, Doyle was sentenced on Thursday to 19 years total.
The minimum non-parole period is 12 years. He pleaded guilty to 98 child abuse offences in February 2025.
