Renault Symbioz hybrid now $4000 cheaper through to year-end
Renault has dropped all Symbioz small SUV prices by $4000 until December 31, bringing the hybrid down to $41,990 drive-away.
Renault Australia is cutting $4000 from the entire Symbioz small SUV range through to December 31, a move the company says recognises Australians are under financial pressure. The discount applies to the base mild-hybrid Techno at $35,990 drive-away, the hybrid Techno at $41,990 and the Esprit Alpine at $45,990, with only private buyers eligible for new, in-stock vehicles.
The Symbioz carries Renault's first full hybrid powertrain, claiming fuel consumption of 4.7 litres per 100km on the hybrid version, with a claimed range of up to 1000km in WLTP testing. The mild-hybrid uses a turbo 1.3-litre petrol engine and claims 6.4L/100km.
All models come with a five-year unlimited warranty, while the hybrid's battery pack is covered for eight years or 160,000km. The Symbioz arrived mid-year to replace the Captur light SUV.
