Jed Bews delisted by Geelong after 175-game career

The 32-year-old premiership defender did not play senior AFL this year and has been delisted.

Bews played 175 games for the Cats, including the 2022 Grand Final. Bews was drafted as a father-son selection in 2011 and has been a fixture at the club for over a decade.

The 32-year-old did not feature at senior level in 2026. Bews is delisted alongside VFL best and fairest George Stevens and Keighton Matofai-Forbes.

Geelong's football boss Andrew Mackie praised Bews' impact both on and off the field. The club thanked him for his service to the Cats and the wider Geelong community.
