Quay Australia co-founder lists Byron Shire home for $13.5 million
Linda Hammond, co-founder of the sunglasses brand Quay Australia, is selling her Byron Shire property for $13.5 to $14.5 million.
Linda and Allen Hammond have put their four-bedroom home in Coopers Shoot on the market. Linda co-founded Quay Australia in 2004 and sold the company to a US private equity firm in 2016 for an undisclosed sum.
Quay collaborated with celebrities including Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton. The Hammonds later launched Otra Eyewear.
They bought the original Byron Shire property for $2.085 million in 2016, knocked it down and rebuilt with a design featuring three sculptural staircases, Japanese-style bath and hinterland views. They are selling to spend more time at their Gold Coast property.
